A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Find an app that allows you to save maps, set schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.
When I tried the S1, it was able to locate the downstairs area, which has Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even over raised thresholds without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank onboard with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 cleaning sessions, but it will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating well. To do this, you'll need to rinse out the water tank that is dirty regularly to prevent it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option for cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with a number of unique features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried at the base station, as required.
This robot combination is simple to install and use, with a simple interface that walks you through the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum for those areas that the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished when needed. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also decent, but it can get stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can reduce by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent, with a pair spinning mop pads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of drag the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation when required. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model is packed with impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than that of some competitors, and leaves a huge space between obstacles. This could lead to missed spots.
The app features a simple and intuitive interface that will be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop settings, and view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. robotic hoovers will need a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to be able to reach every piece of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum once a week, especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has an aluminum body.
Despite losing the ability to wipe your floors, the Q5 has some of the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually each time. It also features a smart app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area carpets, but it didn't remove cables or kitty litter that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also utilizes a unique system to map your home this will allow it to enter places that other vacuums cannot reach. This device also collects dust in a larger bin which means you have to empty it less often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction if needed. You can also mark areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
