Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized using an application that allows you to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping options. You can also adjust the suction power, and how much water your mop uses.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into wires, furniture or other toys. These are essential features to have in my home, which is filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it is naturally with features. automatic vacuum cleaner can mop and sweep simultaneously, and even raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation that tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also comes with a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs to prevent soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its standard vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to go away from their old stick vacuum and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably across the house. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry the mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
Contrary to the other hybrid mops I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned as well as the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately also require replacement every few months.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find however, its cost and maintenance costs will eventually make it more of a want than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. Its roller runs almost the full width of the bot and is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. It must be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning products.
As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map out a space and navigated around furniture. It sat on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop but it does have some impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides various options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and take care to clean everything that is that the device maps, or you can select particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
Like all the Roborock models we've tested like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic manner. Its "Normal" pathing option covers an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items such as rug tassels or electrical wires.
The machine has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
